By car

Erve Veldink is located in the village of Haarlo on the Borculo-Eibergen road. In Haarlo you see approx. 200 m. after the crossroads the high oaks on the right flanking the access road (still within the built-up area, at the start of the cycle path).

the A1 towards Hengelo, exit Lochem, then Borculo, Haarlo.

Drive via Lochem and Borculo to Haarlo.

From Arnhem highway Zutphen; where the motorway ends, turn right along Doesburg, through Laag Keppel, Hummelo, Hengelo Gld, Ruurlo, Borculo, Haarlo; this is the tourist route. Slightly longer, but easier is the motorway to Doetinchem and then the N18 towards Enschede, the Twenteroute. Get off at Groenlo and keep Borculo (the Deventer Kunstweg, a long, fairly straight road). After approx. 6 km turn right onto a side road, take the Wolinkweg. Here is only a small (bicycle) direction sign at the crossroads, on the left you see a villa with a pond (if you miss it, turn right a few km further and continue straight on in Haarlo).

With public transport

Take the train to Ruurlo. Regional taxi or Erve taxi to Haarlo.

Take the train to Ruurlo and then take the bus (line 58 Ariva) in the direction of Borculo-Neede-Enschede. At Borculo bus station change to:

  1. The connecting line, they usually wait for each other. Get off at exit Haarlo (transformer stop, ask driver) and walk another 2 km, or
  2. De buurtbus (Ariva buurtbus 198) vanaf het busstation Borculo naar Haarlo: check voor actuele tijden altijd 9292. This stops about 300 meters from our yard in Haarlo. You walk to the domed church towards the outside of Haarlo, and take the forest path (church path) which runs right past the church.

From Amsterdam or the North you can also take the train to Apeldoorn and then to Zutphen and then the bus to Borculo (see above for further travel from Zutphen).

From bus stop “Transformator” 2 roads lead to Haarlo; the quietest, the Giffelerweg (without ANWB sign), starts right behind the bus stop. Follow this road, with curves, until the T-junction with the Eibergseweg. Turn right here and after 200 m left the driveway with high oak trees of Erve Veldink. You can see the farm somewhat to the back. A 20 minute walk.
